reACT is going full speed ahead as we prepare to launch our newest
campaign, which focuses on ways in which Corporate Tobacco targets teens in Montana. They do it by watching everything teens do. They know what you watch on TV, what you think about, what you wear, who we look up to,
how we spend our time... they're basically obsessed with you. And they
do it because they need you to be replacement tobacco users. They want to addict you now so you'll keep feeding them money for the rest of your lives.
So watch out! They're always watching you!

A movement strives to make a difference - create change. Leaders of a movement instill enthusiasm, motivation and awareness. The reACT Core Team (RCT) is our youth advisory board that makes it happen. RCT leads reACT members (reACTors) in the fight against Corporate Tobacco. They encourage teens to take action and educate Montanans about Big Tobacco's deceptive tactics.
Teens are chosen to serve on the RCT through a thorough application process each August where students showcase their creativity and outline their motivation for fighting Corporate Tobacco. As a member of the RCT, teens attend four educational meetings, take part in bi-monthly conference calls and assist with planning and coordinating the annual reACT Teen Summit, which is held each June.
Becoming a part of the reACT Core Team is a powerful way to get involved. If you would like to know more about becoming a member of the RCT, contact Erin Kintop at (406) 444-7896 or mtreact@mt.gov. And check the homepage in August for the new apps.
