Geared Up for the Upcoming 2010 reACT Campaign
reACT is going full speed ahead as we prepare to launch our newest
campaign, which focuses on ways in which Corporate Tobacco targets teens in Montana. They do it by watching everything teens do. They know what you watch on TV, what you think about, what you wear, who we look up to,
how we spend our time... they're basically obsessed with you. And they
do it because they need you to be replacement tobacco users. They want to addict you now so you'll keep feeding them money for the rest of your lives.
So watch out! They're always watching you!

reACT Core Team (RCT)
Building enthusiasm. Raising awareness. Motivating action. This is how the reACT Core Team fights Big Tobacco.
This group of teen leaders works together to plan, organize and implement different activities for reACT on a statewide level.
The reACT Core Team is about taking our message and reACTivism to the next level – it’s about making an impact.

reACT Crews
reACT Crews are Montana teens coming together to make a difference and speak out about Big Tobacco’s lies. If you’re part of a reACT crew you educate, motivate, and empower your peers to join you in the fight against Big Tobacco.
A reACT Crew is more than a club. Being part of a reACT Crew means being ACTive – organizing reACTivisms and recruiting new members.

reACTivism
What is reACTivism? It’s shouting. Expressing yourself. Starting a buzz. Being creative. It’s your own way of telling other teens about Big Tobacco’s lies. It’s about being proACTive, getting attention, increasing reACT’s membership – and saving lives.
Be sure to get permission from your school before any reACTivism. And remember, the best messages are well thought out and practiced.

A teen member of reACT is a reACTor. But it’s more than being a member. It’s teens educating other teens about Big Tobacco’s lies and manipulations. It’s about teens empowering other teens – refusing to be a passive target – and reACTing.
