Geared Up for the Upcoming 2010 reACT Campaign

reACT is going full speed ahead as we prepare to launch our newest

campaign, which focuses on ways in which Corporate Tobacco targets teens in Montana. They do it by watching everything teens do. They know what you watch on TV, what you think about, what you wear, who we look up to,

how we spend our time... they're basically obsessed with you. And they

do it because they need you to be replacement tobacco users. They want to addict you now so you'll keep feeding them money for the rest of your lives.

So watch out! They're always watching you!

reACT "Nobody's Trophy" Commercial Wins Telly Award

Billings Gazette

8/23/10

An anti-tobacco ad featuring Montana teenagers has received a Bronze Telly Award. Telly Awards honor the best local, regional and cable television commercials and programs.

The Montana Tobacco Use Prevention Program created an ad campaign called "Nobody's Trophy," which calls attention to tobacco industry marketing tactics that target teenagers.

The reACT Core Team, a group of teenagers who lead MTUPP's reACT Against Corporate Tobacco program, conceived the ad campaign in a series of meetings they had with marketing professionals from The Arnold Agency, the tobacco prevention program's media contractor.
