Geared Up for the Upcoming 2010 reACT Campaign

reACT is going full speed ahead as we prepare to launch our newest

campaign, which focuses on ways in which Corporate Tobacco targets teens in Montana. They do it by watching everything teens do. They know what you watch on TV, what you think about, what you wear, who we look up to,

how we spend our time... they're basically obsessed with you. And they

do it because they need you to be replacement tobacco users. They want to addict you now so you'll keep feeding them money for the rest of your lives.

So watch out! They're always watching you!

Check out pictures from the upcoming campaign! Look for the campaign starting September 13th!

Teen Summit

Here's what went down at the 2010 Teen Summit

Over 100 teens from all across Montana came to Helena for the annual reACT Teen Summit to learn effective ways to take action against Corporate Tobacco and their deceitful tactics.

The three-day conference, which was held from June 22–June 24, included interactive sessions on how the tobacco industry has targeted teens, exploited the American Indian population, and specifically targeted women, youth and other populations.

In addition, teens chose an issue about which they were interested, learned about the topic and created their own activism. Issues covered at the Summit included new tobacco products, tobacco and the environment, tobacco and the media and tobacco-free schools.

The goal of the Teen Summit is to equip teens with the information necessary to motivate them to take a stand against Corporate Tobacco and use that information to fight back.

This year's rodeo theme kept everyone in the western spirit and learning how to fight back never looked so fun!
